The Coolant Expansion Tank is becoming a well-known weak point of these cars - with age the plastic weakens, eventually leading to failure. 

One of our own cars recently had the Expansion Tank fail while undergoing MOT test; while there were small stress cracks in the side of the tank, it certainly didn't appear to be about to fail catastrophically (see photographs). 

These are currently very hard to find, however we've located a batch of New Old Stock at a great price! 

Coolant cap not included, but can be added for a discounted price (see drop down menu). 

If your car is a Mk2, you'll have a level sensor (PCJ000050) fitted - these tanks have the correct space for this. 

Please bear in mind that these tanks are New/Old stock that came from Longbridge and have been in storage for nearly 20 years. So may have some marks and dirt on them.
