The Coolant Expansion Tank is becoming a well-known weak point of these cars - with age the plastic weakens, eventually leading to failure. 
They can also become opaque with age, meaning it's quite hard to check your coolant level.

A new Coolant Cap (PCD100160) is included in the price listed. 

Compatible with both Mk1 and Mk2 vehicles, however the coolant level sensor functionality on Mk2s will not work.
