Genuine MG Rover New/Old Stock item. KV6 sumps are not a thing that usually breaks, or wears out, however there are reasons why you need one for your KV6. 

KV6 has a habit of sludging up, which if the sludge moves can cause untold damage to the engine. Secondly, it's not uncommon for the threads on the sump plug and oil cooler mounts. It's also not uncommon for the sump to have scraped along the ground, making it look untidy.

Usually these sumps are £150+, but not here, available for a fraction of that
