Genuine MG Rover item, and this is the front right hand Secondary door seal on the Rover 45/MG ZS. It's a half seal that runs over the top half of the aperture

These do degrade over time and become uncleanable, and they lose their purchase on the aperture. 

They are not sided, but do require moulding firmly into place when fitting.
