Silicone Spray is ideal for keeping window channels, door seals, throttle cables and clutch cables freely moving - it's really handy product to have 'on the shelf' during MG Rover ownership!

At DMGRS we like to use it for the following: 
- Keeping window channels lubricated. Regular application to all window channels will reduce strain on the window mechanism, leading to longer life. 
- Keeping door seals supple and stopping them freezing in winter. There's nothing worse than being frozen out of your car, and regular application of this to door shuts will help prevent water freezing the seals together. 
- Keeping throttle and clutch cables from 'snagging'. A common issue with both on many MG Rover models, you'll likely be amazed how much more freely moving and less notchy your throttle and clutch will feel (bear in mind the only models with a cable clutch are the 100, 200, 25 and ZR). 

We've chosen to stock the Hycote-branded item as it's proven very good in service - quality varies quite a lot, but this particular product seems to last a good while once applied and is well-priced.
